Hi, I’m Hannah.
I was born a Kiwi, naturalized as a Brit, and settled in Germany in 2008.
I’ve been helping people with paperwork for relocation to Germany for the last ten years.
Why do I do this?
I believe moving countries and being exposed to other cultures enriches people’s lives. And I love seeing others experience that and being a part of it.
Moving to Germany is not always easy, but it is rewarding.
That’s why I created Germany Up—to share my knowledge and experience with people who are moving to Germany to work.
My articles are responses to questions that clients and friends ask me. In my articles, I try to explain complicated topics in a simple, understandable way.

My husband and I have two children who keep us on our toes…
Since moving to Germany, I have worked as an office manager for a Christian non-profit, as a translator, high school teacher and Global Mobility Manager. My degree is in German and French, and I have a Cambridge certificate to teach English as a foreign language.
